Yes I can see that it would. But once you sand it down and block it out, there really isn’t much bondo left. All your doing is filling in the welds, low spots and imprafections….

After watching your video I got the courage to do this on my 1970 Nova. I must tell you that I’ve never welded or used bondo before. I made some mistakes welding by burning through the firewall because the metal was so thin. But I was able to fix those mistakes. All in all, it came out great. A local Hot Rod shop was going to charge me $500-900 for the same work. I impressed my wife so I must have done something right. Thanks for the post!
